Four Elemental Yoga: An approach to Becoming Your Own Guru

The following is a four part yoga routine that you can integrate it into your daily habits for joy and love and all the good things this world needs. Its a body and mind exercise where the purpose is temper the soul and spirit so that dally life is less burdened by the illusion of anxieties and struggle. If effectively implemented as a meditative habit the end result is a better quality of life, at least for a moment. The old adage of healthy body, healthy mind is assumed to ring true. Just take it easy on the fast food in between.

The Meditative Practice

Four Elemental Yoga is a meditative philosophy incorporated into a yoga routine, and is the axiomatic heart of the ‘egrugustically’ labelled Tao of Freeman. This is just one of many examples of methods you can use when visualizing positive growth and connecting to the boundless and abundant energy of the universe. By practicing this routine you generate a state of existence that is grounded, abundant and balanced.

The Four Elemental Yoga routine as a meditative practice starts by perceiving reality in fours; I think this is more important than three. The four elements represent not just the building blocks of life, but everything else that emerges from life including all our thoughts and actions individuated and collective: biology, psychology, economy and culture.

The Quadrivium: Understanding the world around us is best discovered with the four disciplines of Geometry, astrology, music, and math. All disciplines are related.

To be more specific Four Elemental Yoga incorporates an entirely made up or borrowed philosophy centered around the four elements of life, Air, Earth, Water, and Fire. The 4 elements also represent the four quadrants of our body, mind, soul, and spirit. We act on this world: passive and active, controlled and free. We are inter-subjectively connected, each harbouring an ego whilst trying to incorporate the greater truth that we are all the same consciousness. The subjective feelings we have about ourselves must be grounded, balanced so as we can better interact with the reality around us, like other subjectively rude people.

The Physical Practice

Before the routine begins, stand up and center yourself, feet shoulder width apart. Ground yourself in the moment at hand and allow negative thoughts to leave and positive thoughts to be received. Use your imagination to form your intentions.

Of course if you are unaware of these specific Yoga routines, for the small price of $777.11 I will teach you, hands and minds, on how to master these 4 simple techniques that you could probably master yourself for free. Writing about them does not do it justice and at least a small amount of knowledge on the practice and proper technique of Yoga will help. If you sign up now I will throw in the bonus of teaching you the fifth element, for total mastery of this universe.

Air-Wisdom-Masculine and ethereal.

Air is the first element that we approach using the Yoga move: Standing Deep Breath of Pranyama breathing technique. Air is essential, and the way we breathe in daily life reflects our wisdom to accept any challenge with grace. The air essence is to connect to our environment with our breath. I also incorporate a masculine energy in this pose, or feminine energy (like you will do with all following poses), that way the breath acts like a cleansing agent for my mind. The way you breath will essentially dictate how you live. Without breath there is death…literally. Do this exercise between 5 and infinite times.

Earth-Growth and Healing-Feminine

Earth is the second element that we connect with, and is essentially the taking notice of the ground you are standing on. Using the Half moon pose be aware of your body from feeling the earth on your feet being pulled up by the gravity of the moon, (preferably you are both bare footed and standing on actual natural landscape). With this pose you will actively engage with the stretch, and imagine the feminine nature of earth and the cycles of life and death. Like Air, Earth is the element that give us sustenance, but unlike air we have to work the Earth. Earth provides us our food and fuel to continue living in a comfortable existence. Remember Mother nature is beautiful in all aspects, sometimes terrifying beautiful and bountiful.

Water- Fluid and Balance- Feminine

The Yoga pose ‘standing bow-pulling’ is by far the most challenging of the four yoga poses. The reason its hard is because it requires you to stand on one foot, which is harder than just standing on two feet. In this third pose we imagine water as its flowing and pooling nature. Ideally you will be in front of water, or look in the direction of a near by water source. Focus on that beauty and quenching nature of water, think of yourself as standing on a paddle board in calm seas, don’t waver, stand strong on your leg and breathe into balance. We are 95% water, drink it regularly.

Fire– Energy and Action- Masculine

The most intense element is fire, a burst of energy from the Sun, tempered by the the other three elements, oxygen from the air and wood from earth feed a fire, water puts it out. The Triangle pose incorporates the the masculine, solar, and king energies. Touching the ground and the sky the stretch should be done with purpose and that you have received the wisdom and abundant ether-like energy of the universe

Four elemental yoga, a trademark aspect of the Tao of Freeman, is an exercise that can be done quickly or slowly. The slower it is and the more mindful your movements are the more one can wins you will have at life. Be number one guru- be truly yourself.
